TOLL HOUSE FUDGE

2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups (4 oz.) mini marshmallows or quartered large marshmallows
1 1/2 cups (9 oz.) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cups chopped Diamond Walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS

Bring butter, sugar, evaporated milk, and salt to a boil in a medium-size, heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Stir in marshmallows, morsels, walnuts, and vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted. Pour into foil-lined 8" square pan. Sprinkle with walnuts if desired. Chill until firm. Makes 2 pounds.

Variations:

1. Milk Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 2 cups (11.5 oz. pkg.) Nestle Toll House Milk Chocolate Morsels.

2. Butterscotch Fudge: Substitute 2 cups(12 oz. pkg.) Nestle Toll House Butterscotch Flavored Morsels.

3. Mint Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 1 1/2 cups (10 oz. pkg.) Nestle Toll House Mint-Chocolate Morsels.

4. Peanut Butter-Chocolate Fudge: Substitute 3/4 cups of both Nestle Toll House Chocolate and Reeces Peanut Butter Morsels.

Note:  We've used other brands of chocolate with much success, including Ambrosia.  Another variation, which we just love, is with 12 oz. of white chocolate.
