APPLE CRISP
6 medium apples, peeled and sliced thin
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
6 tablespoon butter, divided
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup oatmeal
½ cup flour
DIRECTIONS
Place sliced apples in a 2 quart covered
casserole dish. Dot apples with 2 tablespoons butter.
Cream 4 tablespoons butter with brown sugar.
Then add the oatmeal and flour.
Spread the oatmeal mixture evenly over the
apples. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove cover and bake for
approximately 45 minutes, until top is golden brown and apples are bubbling.
Serve warm.
Options: Serve with ice cream or whipped
cream.

Deborah's family. She and her siblings love it.
